With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I’ve been successfully counselling clients throughout the Winnipeg area and facilitating their self-growth. If you are feeling overwhelmed by life’s demands, my services aim to introduce clarity, self-motivation, and resilience. The healing power is inherent in all of us as my role is to guide you gently through your path of self-discovery.
I received my Master of Education Degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Manitoba in 2013 and I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I have received additional advanced training in EMDR, CBT, and Emotion Focused therapies.
I provide counselling and psychotherapy to individuals and families in Winnipeg. Using an integrated approach that includes cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, narrative and humanistic interventions, your sessions are tailored to be meaningful and impactful. Every session is unique because everyone has different concerns and various personalities. I fully customize and structure each session to best meet your needs.

EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITIZATION REPROCESSING (EMDR)
EMDR is a highly effective therapeutic approach used to heal and overcome a wide range of emotional symptoms including anxiety, depression, abuse, phobias, PTSD, and low self-esteem. EMDR incorporates aspects of other therapeutic approaches with the use of bilateral stimulation (BLS), such as eye movements, alternate hand tapping or sounds as a way to help effectively process emotionally disturbing memories. EMDR can help you break free of unconsciously based unhealthy habits, heal and grow from past traumas, reducing their impact and help you develop healthy coping strategies. Often people try EMDR because traditional talk therapies have not been helpful in overcoming their symptoms.
