A space to feel heard, understood, and supported.

Learn a little about me and how I approach counselling.

Hi I’m Seijiro

I’m glad you’re here.

I believe that reaching out for counselling takes courage, and finding the right therapist is an important part of the process. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out.

My approach to counselling is warm, compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when we feel safe, understood, and supported.

I work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, relationship challenges, and difficult life transitions. I recognize that our past experiences can shape how we see ourselves, connect with others, and respond to challenges in the present.

What is it like to work with me?

Counselling is a collaborative process. I bring curiosity, empathy, and genuine care, while recognizing that you are the expert on your own experiences.

My style is supportive, engaged, and thoughtful. Together, we'll explore patterns, recognize your strengths, and find meaningful ways forward.

We'll move at a pace that feels right for you, without pressure to share more than you're ready for.

With over 13 years of experience in the mental health field, I received my Master of Education Degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Manitoba in 2013 and I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I am also an EMDRIA certified therapist.

Taking the first step

Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, especially when you're not sure what to expect. You don't need to have everything figured out before getting in touch.

Whether you're ready to begin counselling or simply have questions about how I work, I welcome you to reach out.
